Continued Adventures of Writing

In a previous writing I expressed the adventures of getting my first novel published.  The hunt was difficult and I opted for a subsidy author for that one.  I have however recently finished editing the manuscript of my next book and this time am determined to find a Agent, so as to get published through a proper publishing House this time around.

It's not going to be easy, it never is for amatuer writings trying to break into the market of book writing.  As alot of us think we can do it, and other people think we are just dreamers with a bug.  And what makes it harder is those who are first time writers who are simply not given a chance because a person will take one look at the book and toss it aside because the first few pages might not be riveting enough.

I guess it all depends on how you look at it and into it.  Thus I have chosen to put my work thorugh a site known as WEBook.  For those of you interested it's a very good site.  I was able to disect my novel into chapters. It enabled me to look at each chapter intensively so I could make sure they flowed from one to the other as sometimes I personally find making chapters difficult.

WEBook has this lovely little addition where it has Agents signed up to it, whom you can send off query letters to.  No more having to scroll through internet pages for agents, or looking for a Publishing directory to send off manuscripts to various publishers who'll knock a person back because they aren't represented by a agent.  This seems to cut the hunting down by half.  It's just a matter of searching through the list of agents until one accepts.  As that is my hope in the end.

And so my adventure of writing continues, with the search for the right agent to help me take the next stop into the publishing world and bring my written creations fully to life.
